79, Kang Ta, Lee Ji Hoon and Shin Hye Sung started project work
Members of the 79 Club and close friends Kang Ta, Lee Ji Hoon and Shin Hye Sung officially started work on their project album. The 3 close friends who are targeting a late June or July release have been spending time at Shin Hye Sung's new studio planning the album. After Shinhwa's contract with SM ended Shin Hye Sung moved into a new studio in Seoul. Kang Ta and Lee Ji Hoon had been visiting almost daily since to work on the album.

SARS threatening Kang Ta's performance in China
Recently, Kang Ta, Shin Hye Sung and Lee Ji Hoon went on a trip to Hong Kong and Japan. They had heard of the SARS virus but did not think that it was that serious until they got off the plane in Hong Kong. Everyone at the airport was wearing a mask. A weird feeling hung over them. They abolished their plans to visit any places outside the hotel. They ended up staying in the hotel for three entire days. Even Kang Ta's dancers are afraid of contacting the SARS virus. Some of them refused to accompany Kang Ta to China for a public performance on the 23th. Kang Ta said, "I might have to sing alone."

Kang Ta to hold 2nd FanMeeting
Kang Ta will hold an official KIT (Kangta in HOT) fan meeting at Seoul's Olympic Stadium on March 29. In the fan meeting the 2nd of such for the ballad singer Kang Ta will be singing songs he wrote and composed for other artists such as Lee Ji Hoon's "Doll" and Boa's "Waiting." Other songs to be performed are "Twenty Three," "The Best" and "Three Times a Lady." For "Doll" longtime friend Lee Ji Hoon himself will come out on stage and sing the duet with Kang Ta. Kang Ta who's been busy after his 2nd album activities with duties such as hosting SBS Inky Gayo and his popular FM radio show is scheduled to release his 3rd album in August.

79 Club to Release 1st Album
The 79 Club which includes all star gasoos who were born in 1979 will be releasing a special album to help the less fortunate. 79 Club President Kang Ta who’s leading the cause has already made a song for it. Kang Ta is also currently receiving lyric ideas from other members of the 79 Club. Members of the 79 Club include Kang Ta, Ahn Jae Mo, Sung Shi Kyung, Lee Ki Chan, Shinhwa’s Shin Hye Sung, Lee Ji Hoon, 1TYM’s Song Baek Kyung, Lee Soo Young, Finkl’s Lee Hyori and Park Kyung Lim. The album which is expected to have at least 10 tracks will have songs featuring multiple 79 Club members, duet songs and solo songs. A large chunk of the proceeds from the sales of the album will be sent to charity. The album has gained special significance after the recent subway tragedy in the city of Daegu. On the morning of February 18 fire allegedly caused by an arsonist spread in two subway trains leaving about 150 dead with more than 300 people still reported as missing. "We feel the pain of the people who lost family in the subway tragedy," said 79 Club member Lee Soo Young. There’s also a chance that there will be a Dream Concert featuring 79 Club members in order to help bring awareness to their cause.

Kang Ta debuted as MC of new SBS Inky Gayo
Star Members of the 79 Club came in droves to support Kang Ta and Yumin who debuted as MCs of the new SBS Inky Gayo on February 9. The gasoos that stopped by included Lee Ji Hoon, Shinhwa's Shin Hye Sung, Lee Soo Young and Lee Ki Chan. They along with Kang Ta and Yumin are all part of the 79 Club due to the fact that they were all born in 1979.

Kang Ta, who has finished his second album's activities, will release a new photo album to thank his fans. The photo album named "Dear Memories" will contain Kang Ta's pictures taken in Cuba. Also included with the 100-page photo album are a set of postcards, a bromide-like calendar and a VCD.
